When flying in the territory of the Czech Republic, you need to have a radiotelephone operator's
license. A pilot must obtain a radio operator's license at least before the first solo flight. A
radiotelephone operator's license entitles you to use a radio on board an aircraft.
Types of radio operator licenses
Restricted licence:
This license entitles the holder to use the radiotelephone only within a limited geographical area (CR)
General license:
This license entitles the holder to use a radiotelephone in the international air traffic without
limitation of geographical territory. (recommended)
